Locate ICE Release Records

To find someone released from the ICE detention system after Wagoner County custody, follow the transfer beyond the county jail. A local release can mean that immigration authorities assumed custody rather than that the person entered the community. No ICE detention center or county ICE detention contract was established in the official Wagoner County sources reviewed. ICE's locator covers current custody and a limited recent-release population. Exact identity details, the county release record, ICE status, and any later destination must be checked together.

ICE Releases from Wagoner County

Immigration detention is a separate federal civil custody system. A WCSO release record can show the time county physical custody ended, but the public 72-hour card does not promise a release reason or destination. If a full record identifies an ICE hold, detainer, or transfer, follow ICE before calling the event a community release.

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations may hold a person at a facility outside Wagoner County. The next event could be continued detention, transfer, release under conditions, or another immigration process. The ICE Online Detainee Locator System is the public status channel. A county court disposition does not cancel or explain a separate federal immigration custody action.

No Wagoner County ICE Facility

No official source reviewed established an ICE detention facility inside Wagoner County. The research also did not establish a county ICE detention contract. State this plainly rather than naming an institution in another county as if it were local. The ICE facility entry represents a serving system, not a building in Wagoner.

That finding does not rule out an individual ICE transfer. Federal authorities can take custody after a local jail event and place the person elsewhere. Ask WCSO whether the local release entry recorded a transfer agency or destination. Then use the federal identifier and ICE locator to follow the new system.

Note: No local ICE center was identified, but an individual county release can still be a transfer into federal immigration custody.

Search ICE Releases from Wagoner

The ICE Online Detainee Locator System provides two identity routes. The A-number route requires a nine-digit number and country of birth. Add leading zeros when the A-number has fewer digits. The biographical route requires the exact first and last name and country of birth, with other identity details used as the live form requests.

  1. Obtain the person's full legal name, country of birth, and A-number if known.
  2. Search by the nine-digit A-number first because it is more precise than a name.
  3. If using the biographical path, enter the exact name rather than a nickname or partial spelling.
  4. Read the current result and any facility or contact instruction exactly as displayed.
  5. Save the access date because the recent-release population is time limited.
  6. If no result appears, recheck identity details, call the information line, and return to the county transfer record. Do not label the person released from a blank search.

ODLS covers adults currently in ICE custody and people held by CBP more than 48 hours. People under 18 are excluded. Those scope limits mean a no-result can have several explanations unrelated to release.

Wagoner ICE Release 60-Day Window

ICE's attorney resource says ODLS retains information for people currently detained and those released from ICE custody within the last 60 days. This is a distinctive limit. During that window, a properly matched recent-release result can support the statement that ICE custody ended as reported by the locator. It still may not answer why the person was released, what conditions apply, or what legal process continues.

After the limited window, an empty result cannot establish that ICE detention never occurred. It also cannot prove the release date, reason, or destination. Preserve an identifier and the accessed date, then use ICE records channels and the immigration case record for older events. A screenshot or saved result from the live window should be described as what ODLS showed at that time, not as a permanent archive.

Important: An ODLS no-result after the recent-release window does not prove that the person was never detained or released by ICE.

The 60-day limit is also why the local WCSO transfer entry matters. County records can preserve the handoff date after the federal public locator stops returning the person.

Use the access date in any note about the result. A record visible on one day can age out later. That change does not make the earlier official result false, nor does it show that the source record was erased.

Wagoner Jail to ICE Transfer

The WCSO current roster is designed for people in county custody. A disappearance from that list can reflect bond, sentence completion, transfer, death, a data update, or another event. The Sheriff's 72-hour release view provides booked and released timestamps, but its public fields do not promise a release code or destination. Use the record request when the card alone cannot distinguish an ICE transfer.

Ask for the existing booking, custody, and release records tied to the person, booking number, and narrow date range. Request the admission and release time, release code or reason, transfer agency or destination if recorded and public, and any hold or detainer field that affected movement. Do not ask WCSO to decide the person's immigration status or predict the federal case.

The Wagoner County Jail is located at 307 E. Cherokee St., Wagoner, OK 74467. The jail line is 918-485-7730. The WCSO office line, 918-485-3124, is described as answered 24 hours. In-person Records requests are accepted Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Older event proof should come from that original county record and the later ICE record.

ICE Release Status Has Limits

Leaving ICE custody can lead to the community under stated conditions, another authority, removal, or another legal status. ODLS is a custody locator, not a full immigration-case explanation. Read the result narrowly. “Released from ICE custody” is not the same statement as a favorable final case outcome, and it does not prove that all reporting or court duties ended.

Likewise, a local court dismissal or completed county sentence does not resolve a federal immigration matter. The court file explains the local case. The WCSO release record proves the county exit. ODLS and ICE records cover federal detention. If another agency took custody, that agency's locator or record becomes the next source.

A-number
The federal alien registration identifier used for the strongest ODLS match.
Detainer
A request or legal notice that can affect release from another custodian.
Transfer
A change from one custodian to another, not necessarily release into the community.
Recent release
An ICE custody exit still within the limited public ODLS period.

Request Wagoner ICE Release Records

For the county side, request the WCSO transfer record. For the federal side, use the applicable ICE records or case channel and identify the A-number, full name, country of birth, facility if known, date range, and the exact record sought. Privacy, law-enforcement, and immigration-record rules may limit disclosure. A focused request is more useful than asking an agency to reconstruct a person's entire history.

Save each source separately. The county file may show that WCSO released the person to ICE. ODLS may show current detention or limited recent release. An immigration court or agency record may explain the process. No one source should be made to prove all three events.

If a result conflicts with the county timestamp, check whether it refers to a different booking, transfer stage, or same-name person. Use the A-number and booking number to resolve identity rather than choosing the most convenient date.

Confirm an ICE Release Destination

Begin with the last confirmed custodian. If WCSO held the person, establish the county exit and named destination. If ICE then held the person, search ODLS while the recent-release window remains useful. If the person no longer appears, contact ICE through the official line and use the case or records route. A no-match is a lead, not proof.

The Wagoner County released-inmate search covers the county release feed, VINE, court, and records-request sequence. Its local evidence can anchor the date ICE custody began even after ODLS stops displaying an older federal release.
